The cuprous telluride semiconductor crystals are excellent in terms of particle conductivity and thermoelectricity. They also have a wide range of potential applications in photovoltaic (PV) and photothermal therapies. The synthesis methods of the aqueous phase (Cu2-xTe), Cu1.75Te and Cu7Te5 telluride semiconductors nanomaterials have been successfully used in the preparation of three different types (Cu2-xTe), Cu2.75Te and Cu7Te5). We studied the LSPR phenomenon in the infrared and analysed the process. Results showed that three telluride semiconductor nucrystals had different photothermal conversion characteristics. Cu1.75TE, Cu7Te5 and cu2-xTe were better than the other two. Comparison of the three copper telluride nanocrystals used for film formation was made. The Cu7Te5 nanometer cube is capable of forming dense and uniform films.
