Food grade Sorbitan Monostearate can be used as a food emulsifier in accordance with GB13481. It is used in the production of beverages, toffee, ice cream, bread, pastry, margarine, chocolate, etc., according to the limit of GB 2760.
Industrial grade Sorbitan monostearate can be used as an emulsifier and stabilizer in cosmetics, as an antistatic agent of acrylic fiber and soft oiling agent in the textile industry.
It is used as anti-fogging drops for PVC, EVA, PE and other films, with a dosage of 1.5 ~ 1.8% in PVC and 0.7 ~ 1% in EVA.
