The Uses of Ti6Al4V Pulver

(1) Corrosion-resistant general components are made from treated pure titanium sponge by cold pressing vacuum sintering. Use of titanium powder-sintered parts in aviation is a mature practice. Pure sponge titanium powder, or alloy powder, can be rolled directly into porous titanium plate or dense titanium plate. The former can then be coiled into a porous tube and welded as a filter.

(2) TiAI alloy target can be made by using titanium powder and aluminium powder as raw materials. For electronics, titanium getter material that can reach high vacuum is required. HDH titanium powders are typically used with larger surface areas to make such materials.
