    Stearic Acid Amide Emulsion

    About Stearic Acid Amide Emulsion:
Stearic acid amide is a white emulsion, the product is non-toxic, non-polluting, non-hazardous, and environmentally friendly. It is easy to disperse in water and has the characteristics of ultra-fineness, low viscosity, and good dispersibility.

Stearamide is also called stearamide. Its chemical formula is C17H35CONH2. The stearic acid amide insoluble in water, slightly soluble in organic solvents at room temperature. It can improve the dispersion effect and affinity of dyes and pigments.

Good adhesion, lubricity and mold release, no moisture absorption and other advantages. It is miscible with paraffin wax. The ammonium salt is formed by the reaction of stearic acid and ammonia and then dehydrated to obtain the final product. It has no hygroscopicity, good smoothness, can improve the dispersion effect of pigments and dyes, and has lubricity and mold release properties. Used as a surface-active agent, fiber oil agent, release agent, polyvinyl chloride and urea resin lubricant, pigment ink and color crayons mixed agent.

Stearamide can be used as a sensitizer and slip agent in thermal paper coatings, as well as a slip agent and anti-blocking agent in polyolefin films. Stearates are based on fatty saturated linear monocarboxylic acids derived from natural vegetable oils. Feel free to send an inquiry to get the latest price if you would like to buy Stearic Acid Amide Emulsion in bulk.

How is Stearic Acid Amide Emulsion produced?
Since stearic acid amide is insoluble in water, emulsifiers and dispersing agents need to be added in the process of preparing water-based stearic acid amide emulsion to achieve the dispersion effect. The existing water-based stearic acid amide emulsion still has a poor dispersion effect even with the addition of emulsifier and dispersant and is easy to precipitate, and flocculation and stratification may occur after long-term storage. In addition, the existing method requires high-speed stirring and grinding under heating conditions in the process of preparing the aqueous stearic acid amide emulsion, the production process is complicated, and the production cost is high.

The preparation method of water-based stearic acid amide: first add stearic acid amide and emulsifiers A and B to water and stir for 60 min (stirring speed is 2500r/min), then add defoamer and preservative and stir for 40 min (stirring speed is 2500r /min) to obtain the aqueous stearic acid amide emulsion. The prepared water-based stearic acid amide emulsion has a solids content of 41.7% by weight and a viscosity of 146 mPa·S; the water-based stearic acid amide emulsion is centrifuged at 20000r/min for 30 minutes, and no delamination is seen; Stearic acid amide emulsion was placed at 20-35°C for 3 months without flocculation and delamination.

Applications of Stearic Acid Amide Emulsion:
Stearamide is used as a lubricating and mold release agent for polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene and other plastics, and has excellent external lubricating effect and mold release performance.

As an anti-blocking agent for polyolefin films, stearamide is usually used in conjunction with oleamide erucamide.

Compared with the commonly used inorganic anti-blocking agent (silica), stearamide has the characteristics of not affecting the transparency of the product. It is used as an internal release agent for synthetic rubber or natural rubber and a lubricant to improve the processing agent of the rubber compound, giving the product a good Gloss.

Stearic acid amide ultrafine aqueous dispersion is used as a sensitizer for thermal paper.

Stearic acid amide ultra-fine water-based dispersion is used as a textile waterproofing agent, fiber softener, antistatic agent, wetting agent, fixing aid.

Application and Preparation of Stearic Acid Amide

What is Stearic Acid Amide The white emulsion of stearic acids amide can be used to add important ingredients for plastics and other synthetic materials, such as rubber, chemicals, fibers and coatings. Because of its unique chemical structure, it can improve polymer resins' processing capabilities and to some extent also give products high application performance.

Features and uses of Stearic Acid Amide

Stearic Acid amide is harmless, non-toxic, and not-polluting. This acid is easily dispersed in water. Inks, coatings, and leather coatings are the main uses of this compound. To improve slip resistance, resistance to abrasion, and anti-blocking. It is also used in textile post processing additives, paper coatings or thermal paper sensitizers.

    Prepare Stearic Acid Amide

In order to attain the dispersion effect of water-based water-based steroids acid amide, dispersing and emulsifying agents must be used. Although the water-based stearic acids amide emulsion has good dispersion properties, even with dispersant and emulsifier, there is still a high possibility of precipitation. Long-term storage may also cause flocculation or stratification. First, add the water-based water-basedstearic Acid amide to water. Then stir for 60 minutes (stirring rate is 2500r/min). Next, add the defoamer (stirring pace is 2500r/min) and then stir for another 40 min. This will produce an aqueous solution of stearic Acid amide. This prepared water-based, stearic-acid amide-amide emulsion contains a solid content 41.7% by mass and has a viscosity (146 mPa*S). Then add defoamer and preservative and stir for 40 minutes at 2500r/min. After 30 minutes centrifugation at 20000r/min is completed. Biomedicalmaterialsprogram (aka.
